| The Rex Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, next door to the People Committee House and within minutes away from the Ben Thanh Market and The Opera House. Originally, the building was designed as a French garage in the early 20?s century. In 1962, it became famous as the base for the American Information Service. Since 1975 the building was upgraded into the hotel and renamed as ?The Rex Hotel?. With a total of 227 well-appointed guest rooms, a wide range on international standard services and facilities, and the charm of traditional ambience, the Rex Hotel is considered ?home away from home? by many international travelers. |
