| The Sofitel Dalat Palace was originally built in 1922 by the French Administration of Indochina and fully renovated while retaining its French colonial stule and reopened in 1995. Since its first opening in 1922, the hotel has always been the favorite destination for honeymooners and the summer retreat of Vietnam to heads of the states, visiting dignitaries, world famous actors, and for many years the guests of Dalat'st most famous resident Emperor Bao Dai.
