Sila Evason Hideaway & Spa at Samui is located on a headland on the northern tip of Koh Samui, approximately 5 kms. from the airport. The resort is set amongst 20 acres of indigenous plantings and offers stunning views of The Gulf of Thailand. The Sila Evason Hideaway identifies the boutique category of the Evason. The resort offers 66 uniquely designed villas namely Hideaway Villa, Pool Villa, Pool Villa Suite and Presidential Suite. All of the villas are located amongst natural vegetation around a sloping headland offering unsurpassed panoramic sea view. All villas have an open-style bathroom, which create and atmosphere of space and light in the room, and also maintains views of the surrounding seas and islands from almost every location in the villa. With the exemption of Hideaway Villas, all other villas have private pools, most with infinity edge which gives the impression of blending into the horizon. Since its opening in late 2004, The Sila Evason Hideaway has become increasingly popular for all the honeymooners and sophisticated travelers around the world.

Our personal review

One of the very trendy and hip hotel in Samui Island. This place is what I used to say, it is definitely my romance place. You may hear that the villa is very privacy but this to give and take. I say.."Sexy Hotel" of my choice. Recommended for all couples and honeymooner. For the isolated, you may pick the Hideaway Villa but one of my favourite is Pool Villa.

Check-in and check-out time

The standard of check-in time for most of the hotels in Thailand is usually at 2.00 p.m. and the check-out time is at 12.00 noon. In order to ensure that room will be retained for late check out until 6.00 p.m., the hotel will usually charge 50% of the nightly room rate (room rate may vary subject to space availability on that day). If you wish to keep the room for late check-out until after 6.00 p.m., a one night charge will be applied.
