Newly opened on the island of Samui is The Anantara Resort & Spa Koh Samui, a boutique-sized resort of just 106 rooms and suites, all of which look out over the azure-waters and white sands of Bophut Bay. The resort is set on 11 acres of beachfront land next to the laid-back haven of fisherman's village on the north coast of Koh Samui. As with its sister's properties in Hua Hin and Golden Triangle, master landscape architect Bill Bensley has created the drama for The Anantara's gardens, Spa and Italian Restaurant, all of which he described as being hip and minimalist in keeping with Bophut's chill out ambience.

Our personal review

Lovely resort on Bophut Beach with walking distance to fishmerman?s village and 20 minutes away from Chaweng. Ocean-viewed rooms are very nice with fantastic view.

Check-in and check-out time

The standard of check-in time for most of the hotels in Thailand is usually at 2.00 p.m. and the check-out time is at 12.00 noon.
