Set amidst 20 acres of landscaped gardens and paddy fields in the beautiful Mae Rim Valley, 30 minutes drive from Chiang Mai Airport, The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is truly a world of its own. The resort is set in 8 hectares (20 acres) of extensively landscaped tropical gardens and rice paddies. The 64 Pavillions are housed in 2-storey clusters of 4 rooms surrounded by spectacular landscaped tropical gardens. Each Pavilion is 70 sqm. (750-sq.ft.) features a bedroom and a sitting area complete with teak wood and exquisite furnishing. Adjoining the bedroom is a large dressing area with a double vanity, an oversized bathtub and a separate shower are which overlooks a secluded tropical gardens. A private Thai sala or outdoor verandah provides additional space and is perfect for meals or simply unwind or relax! Each Pavilion?s setting overlooks either the gardens or terraced rice paddies or mountain views. Our personal review

This small truely mountain resort is offering the excel service, cozy accommodation and friendly and high quality of staff. Obviously you can have the bird watching within the resort as well. Wake up in the morning and enjoy or even learn how to grow the rice in the field with hotel farmers!! If that make you feel tired, please feel free to book treatment for yourself at the fantastic spa of Four Seasons or you can even book for cooking class and become chef of your own.

Check-in and check-out time

The standard of check-in time for most of the hotels in Thailand is usually at 2.00 p.m. and the check-out time is at 12.00 noon. In order to ensure that room will be retained for late check out until 6.00 p.m., the hotel will usually charge 50% of the nightly room rate (room rate may vary subject to space availability on that day). If you wish to keep the room for late check-out until after 6.00 p.m., a one night charge will be applied.
