Voted as No. 1 hotel in Bangkok from the Trip Advisor?s Popularity List. Guest rooms are extremely spacious with spectacular view of Bangkok city especially at night time. Location might not be that ideal for business travelers as it is on the other side of Bangkok but with the hotel?s shuttle boat service that takes you to the BTS Sky Train at Tak Sin Station makes traveling within the city for sightseeing or shopping a lot easier. We stayed at the Peninsula while traveling on through to Phuket. We transferred here after two hot, sweaty days in dowtown and let me tell what a fantastic change of venue. Sure it's pricey, but actually a real baragin for this level of service and amenities once you compare it to other hotels(think about it , it's about half price of a Ritz Carleton elsewhere). The service is incredble and anyone who finds fault with it must be a royal pain. The breakfast is incredible and the room we stayed in (deluxe suite) was the nicest hotel room I've ever seen. The ferry ride is very nice and takes you right to the end of the Skytrain which will then take you anywhere in Bangkok on the cheap. We'll be back soon!
