Since its opening in 1992, The Villa Santi Hotel has been known as one of the most charming boutique hotels in Luang Prabang. Being restored from a French colonial style royal mansion, Villa Santi Hotel features 25 rooms in 2 separate buildings. The original building houses 11 rooms in the ground floor with the famous ?Princess Restaurant? on the second floor. The new building nearby has 14 rooms on both upstairs and downstairs. The rooms are a bit small but very nicely decorated using authentic Laos rosewood furnishings and Laotian silk fabric (please note that there is NO television in any of the rooms here). The standard of check-in time for most of the hotels in Laos is usually at 2.00 p.m. and the check-out time is at 12.00 noon. In order to ensure that room will be retained for late check out until 6.00 p.m., the hotel will usually charge 50% of the nightly room rate (room rate may vary subject to space availability on that day). If you wish to keep the room for late check-out until after 6.00 p.m., a one night charge will be applied.
